Work Preparation Specialist

About this role

As a work preparation specialist, you ensure good collaboration between the work floor and technical preparation. You make sure everything runs smoothly: from materials and work orders to planning and quality controls. You maintain oversight, identify bottlenecks, and connect with colleagues to deliver projects on schedule and with the highest quality. In short, it's a varied role in which you combine technology, process optimization, and collaboration! Specifically, this means you will:

  • Provide production with the right information and materials to ensure everything runs smoothly;
  • Create detailed schedules and assess the required capacity;
  • Promptly identify deviations in planning and immediately connect with the teams involved;
  • Check incoming goods for quality and quantity;
  • Actively contribute to improvements within the production process.

Your profile 

'Good preparation is half the work,' and that certainly applies to this position! You maintain overview, plan accurately, and ensure materials, work orders, and technical information are available on time. You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly with different departments, and know how to switch quickly when changes occur. With your technical insight and eye for quality, you contribute to a smooth and error-free production process. Additionally, you bring:

  • A completed technical MBO education (vocational) and work experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with reading and checking technical drawings;
  • Knowledge of AFAS or similar ERP systems is a plus;
  • Humor. Bad humor is also acceptable.

  • A tax-free travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (from 10 km one way);
